Just Can't Get Enough of this Snow

No it hasn't really stopped snowing out here in UT, but we do get periodic bursts of spring. But the snow here doesn't compare to the snow in Island Park ID. I know, Island Park sounds so tropical, but nothing is farther from the truth. Island Park is where Bryan's grandparents live, in the most amazing cabin tucked into the forest right outside of Yellowstone. It's an awesome place to visit, and we try to as often as we can.

I have never seen so much snow in my life.

Thank goodness we're not driving the ol' Camry anymore. No way it would've made it up here.

The boys were in heaven. They spend hours everyday rolling around in the snow.

It snowed while we were there too.

They slid down the huge drifts, went sledding in the backyard and climbed snow mountains.

They didn't want to come in, except to eat.

The biggest boys (Bryan and his brother Chad) spent most of the weekend on the snowmobiles. Once they were gone for about 4 hours. We were starting to think they'd gotten lost. But they weren't. Bryan's wallet wasn't so lucky. Try finding a wallet somewhere on a trail in Island Park. Thank goodness for the honesty of some stranger, who found it and called Bryan.

Ty and Brans were pretty excited about snowmobiling too.

And to add to the fun, Ty lost another tooth while we were there. Thank goodness the toothfairy could find us!

And we all know I couldn't post without a pic of Tess! She didn't get out in the snow too much, but when she did, her baby fur coat kept her toasty. Her auntie Michelle finds the cutest stuff for her! Overall, a great weekend! We're definitely planning another trip up there this summer. Maybe the snow will have melted by then... maybe.

Oh, if anything could make me homesick for snow, these did the trick! Looks like so much fun!!!

I grew up going to my grandparents cabin in island park. They are some of my favorite memories.
Love the new wheels!
