First stop was the Rolfes, a family we went to dental school with in KY. Though the kids didn't remember each other (they were 1 1/2 and 3 months old when we left), they were fast friends by the end of our stay with them.
We also got to spend the morning with our friends the Christensens. They are friends of ours from residency in OK. Our kids were so happy to reunite with their ol' buddies, I totally enjoyed catching up with my dear friend Jillian, and Bryan and Eddie were like 2 giddy kids talking about their practices.
Now we couldn't leave AZ without some yummy Mexican food... especially since Rosa's is there! Bryan and I hadn't had Rosa's since our dating days in Provo.
And we also were able to stop in and enjoy the AZ temple.
The last half of our trip was spent with the Prices, friends from dental school. It was so much fun, kids played at the park, we had movie night, a few of the boys caught a Suns game, so great!... except for the part where our buddy Dr Price did surgery on my gums. That part was no fun. But all in all it was a great trip! Next time we may have to stay a little longer!
