The Wait is Over

And another season of Bachelorette begins again.  Must say I'm not sure I want to watch Emily for an entire season.  The show starts off with the millionth review of Emily's experiences with the Bachelor and with her sad story of losing her fiance and raising Ricki alone.  Now it's time to meet a few Bachelors.

Kalon- rich kid, seems like a weenie (luxury brand consultant)
Ryan - jock with a dog with weirdly styled hair (Ryan's hair, not the dog's)
Tony - Lumber seller, fitness man, father and divorcee
Larone - real estate consultant with little dog
David - singer song writer (which means he loves what he does but makes no money doing it, so is probably actually a waiter or something), he showed his talent by singing a song, it had only one word in it... "Emily, Emily, Emily".  He might want to think of another career.
Charlie - with totally cute bulldog, had a traumatic head injury but stated there's "nothing wrong with my heart."  He was my favorite when going through the profiles online.
Jef - yes, with one F.  CEO of a bottled water company, I woulda guessed he was 18, said he's from SLC but is really from St George.  He attended the high school I taught at in St George.  He was a student while I was there teaching.
Arie - race car driver, Haha abc, bringing back a race car driver like her ex, another twisted situation for Emily to deal with.   He probably didn't even apply for the show, abc probably went looking for a cute driver willing to come on the show.

Next we see Emily getting ready with her daughter at home.  Emily arrives at the mansion.  But it's not the usual watered-down-driveway-LA mansion.  They're not in LA but instead in Charlotte so Emily can be closer to her daughter and life can be more "normal" for her.  Chris sits down with our nervous Emily to talk, but all I heard in her interview was that she wants a minivan full of babies.

Now the stage is set and the limos arrive.  First out of the limo is Sean, a good hugger, then Doug scores points as the sweet handsome single dad, Jackson awkwardly got on his knee, Joe was SUPER BOISTEROUS, Kyle needs to control his wandering eyes (how many times does he need to look her up and down!), Alessandro is our Brazilian, Jef showed up on his skateboard with Elvis hair, Stevie our dancing MC comes bopping in with his ghetto blaster in hand, Tony arrived with a glass slipper in hand... dorky, Grandma Bachelor Randy was odd, not sure if I'd want to be compared to an ostrich egg, Music Mike needs a haircut, and Kalon (I know it's not pronounced Cologne but it sure would fit him better) showed up in his own helicopter of love.

SO there was lots of talking, trying to impress and the winners of the rose are: Squinty eyed Chris, weird-haired jock Ryan, Cologne, Racing to her heart Arie, Charlie, Jef, Nate, Sean, Joe (looks like Dawson's creek), Kyle, Aaron, Alejandro the mushroom man, John "wolf", Allessandro, Michael with long hair, MC Stevie, Tony, The Ostrich egg handler Travis, and the first impression rose went to Daddy Doug.

Looks like a lot of crying men are to come.
