I was in AZ visiting friends (and having gum surgery) for the weekend and totally missed Bachelorette! And it was Hometown dates!!! Thank goodness for DVR! May the awkward conversations begin!
Lindzi scored the first date. She arrives on horseback (wait I've seen this before). The Cox family, consisting of Dad, Mom and Lindzi, seem to be totally solid good people. Loved the carriage racing. Loved the shirt Lindzi had on. She's a great girl, despite her makeup choices.
My Girl Kacie decides to start their date off doing the most unromantic thing possible, she arrives twirling her baton with the local high school band... in the rain... which sadly gives her frizzy hair for the rest of the night (and what was with her weird misshapen red blouse?). Afterward, with champagne in hand, My Girl Kacie tells Knucklehead about her completely sober parole officer father (as in he doesn't drink, ever... not the best mix with our wine bibber Bachelor). The entire night seemed tense. I totally respect and admire My Girls parents for their so rare nowadays morals, but I'm pretty sure it cost My Girl any future with Knucklehead.
Texas Nicki, arrives looking extra curvaceous in the stockyards of TX. They do some boot shopping, Ben exits the store in head to toe cowboy gear (NOT a good look for him), they grab a saloon beer and then head home to meet this TX family. It's comfortable. There's tears about her past divorce and the happiness she's found with Ben. Sweet, but we all know it's not going to be her in the end.
And last but actually least, we're off to Arizona for the Evil Seductress. Her family seemed nice enough. After dinner and one on one conversations they head out to a place special in the Evil Ones life, the location of her first photo shoot. gag me. But what does she have set up here? A fake wedding, just for her and Knucklehead. They write vows, recite vows, exchange rings and she tells him she's falling in love with him. If I'm gonna give the girl any credit for anything its that I think she legitimately loves this guy. hmph. Well maybe they deserve each other. Pretty sure this date sealed the deal with Knucklehead. Sorry other gals, you're just along for the ride.
Well at the rose ceremony it was My Girl Kacie who left bawling, and swearing. Next week they're off to Switzerland. Lookin' awesome. And they left us wondering who the secret girl is that arrives at his hotel door. Any guesses? My guess is it's Ashley from last season... there to give advice or something. We'll see! And what's with the Bachelor starring Emily, starting next week? Was that for real?
