It's a scene from A Walk In The Clouds. We're getting a peek at beautiful Sonoma,CA where Ben grew up and currently lives as a wine bibber. Okay, now here's a city that the Bach producers don't have to make look amazing. It really is, in real life, no exaggerating here. I LOVE Sonoma. Well all these lucky Bachelorette's are on their way there to hang with Ben in his hometown. They arrive at this amazing house, complete with pool, HOT TUB (surprise surprise) and an amazing view. Ben shows them around and then hands out the first date card and it goes to My Girl Kacie! Woot woot.

That night he pulls up in his topless Bronco dressed in a dress shirt and blazer. She's looking darling and casual in a 3/4 length striped shirt and short shorts and her cowboy boots. First up is a drive/walk through the quaint little downtown of Sonoma. His hair is frizzy. They wander in and out of old shops and things and ends up with a bag of odd souvenirs. She has found herself a baton and it's a flashback to her life as a baton twirling southern gal. And we're not talking some little girl's fantasy of twirling the thing. She's, like, GOOD! They have their own parade down the middle of the street, just the two of 'em, marching to their own beat. Over dinner there is lots of good conversation and smiles. Who wouldn't want to marry this cute girl?! Of course she got the rose and a few kisses. But its not over. Next they head into an empty theater where old home videos of Kacie are playing. Then it's Ben's video, which leads to some tears and a tender moment for the two of them as they talk about how much he misses his dad who passed away 5 years ago. Now this is how this show succeeds in getting feelings so strong so fast. As Ben put it, it was "very personal and intimate, it totally bonded us." I was a sucker for it. They were too, and romantic kisses under the stars completed the date. Lets just end the season right here and let this couple move on with their lives... oh wait, that's not near enough drama. Enter, the other 20 gals.

Next date card arrives: Blakely, Brittney, Rachel, Jennifer, Emily, Jenna, Shawn, Monica, Samantha, Jamie, Nicki, and Jacklyn, as Ben would say, it's "a lot of legs." They all meet in town square in their skimpiest outfits and he announces they're doing a play, written by a group of kids. But first they have to tryout in front of a panel of kid judges. Poor youngsters were exposed to way too many breasts.

Once parts were determined, costumes were handed out and somehow abc has dug up a bunch of people to come watch this mess. I love when they humiliate girls I don't like. So the weasel, hippy, donkey, wizard, gingerbread man, pig and fire breathing dragon all put on their awful play for the community and somehow there were smiles all around. The after party took place in someones backyard around a candlelit pool... gotta get those girls out of their costumes and into their bikinis ya know. What's with Blakely and her 6 inch long earrings (they were that long the first night too). And those veneers!

Quick peek back at the house where another date card has appeared: and it's for Model Courtney. "How'd that taste coming out of your mouth" she hisses to My Girl Kacie who read the card. She's a witch. She's playing so many mind games. She says things just to tick everyone off. She's not a nice girl. Ben needs a nice girl.

Back at the pool there are girls straddling Ben for a game of chicken in the pool, girls working on getting their first kiss with him, Red Head gets hers, Blakely gets hers, girls get jealous of said kiss and amazingly Horse Teeth Blakely gets the rose.

Now it's Courtney's date. Scotch the dog is coming along. He's Ben's "son". They're off on a walk thru the Redwoods and picnic next to some little lake, its actually totally my kind of date. She comes off so sweet when she's around him whick scores her a rose. Suddenly its night and they're riding a tractor thru a candlelit vineyard. ummm, is anyone else disturbed by the combination of fire and field? It's obvious he's really into her. Oh My Girl Kacie, do you even have a chance?

Rose Ceremony: The claws came out when Blakely, who already has a rose (and is again wearing 6 inch long earrings), stole Ben away from other girls over and over. Jenna repeats last week's episode by crying, drinking too much, mumbling a few bizarre phrases to Ben and disappearing into a room in the house to sulk. Blakely, over hearing the other girls talking trash about her, disappears behind some suitcases to cry. Chris and Ben are in matching skinny ties. One girl's dress is about 3 sizes too small for her. And the roses go to Red Head Jennifer, Emily, Elise, Not So Cute Jacklyn, Erica, Snaggle Tooth Rachel, Needs Another Lipstick color Lindsey, Nicki, Casey S, No Drama Samantha, Monica, Jamie AND the final rose goes to Brittney (who apparently doesn't know how to talk if Grandma isn't around).

Goodbye Jenna (would anyone explain to me why she only has one finger nail painted?) and some other forgettable girl. Next week we're off to San Fran! Another cool spot. And we'll get to find out who this mystery girl is! Any guesses?
