What a fun day the 4th of July is! We started off early at the parade. We met up with a bunch of friends to eat and cheer on the Shriners. After the parade the boys ran thru the sprinkler with Dad to cool off and then we ALL took a nap! Afterward we BBQed with friends and then went and watched the fireworks. It was a picture perfect 4th of July.

Ty saw the policemen and wanted to go say hi. They were nice enough to give him a police badge sticker, and now he says he's helping them fight crime!
Cason actually did pretty good throughout, but the sirens from the police and firetrucks were a bit much for him. 
no I don't usually let my 3 year old sip on a 32oz drink, but it was just so dang hot! Nothin' like a donut and root beer for breakfast!

I love the pics of the parade, looks like you guys a great time, it makes me miss being there with you guys, and by the way it was not stressful at all in lake powell, this is Makenna's 4th time going and we go to the lake alot and so she knows she has to wear her life jacket so it was a blast and now Makenna tells me every day mom we go to lake powell it is pretty fun, it was good to hear from you guys, your boys are growing up way to fast.
looks like you guys had a fun 4th of July. also, i love the bday cake for Bryan. it is so fun and creative!
