Well after the overcrowded art festival last weekend, we thought we'd try our little local art festival this weekend. It was great. The weather was perfect. The air was full of the delightful smells of fried everything. The food was yummy. And the awesome statue man was there! I've got to remember to mark this on my calendar for next year.
This is the famous New Port Strawberry dessert (I think that's what it's called). It shows up at all the festivals around here. I must say it was pretty tasty! It's strawberries, puffed pastry, custard and whipping cream! MMmmmmmmmmmmm!
