Daddy's Birthday

Our Daddy had a birthday! We had much to do to prepare! First we had to bake our cake. Mommy let us decide what color we wanted it to be.



We decided on rainbow! Then she let us choose what color for the frosting. That would be rainbow too.



Then we put on our wiggly candles. Daddy's much older than this. The cake would go up in flames if we put 32 of them on it.

Then we wrapped the presents we picked. We had brainstormed some present ideas, but mommy couldn't find the magician hat, blue lawn mower, computer stuff or fish that we thought of. We settled on his favorite candies...perfect for the movie he and mommy would go see that night.



Then we had to get his birthday dinner ready. We shucked all the corn. We're big helpers.



Then Daddy came home, we danced around shouting happy birthdays! We had his brithday dinner and topped it off with birthday cake. Daddy really liked to hear us sing Happy Birthday. I don't know who enjoyed his birthday more, daddy or us!
